People ruining mx-3's

Post by Franko »

We have all seen them.. People who drive their mx's with one blown headlight hubcaps or a dented rear quarter pannel that they refuse to fix. I have seen them rusty and all beat up. How do these people live with themselves? Honestly. I want to take all of their mx's and keep them for myself.
Then you got these guys who have their mx-3 and put the sticker on the winshield 'fear this' or something similary stupid or some horrible design on the side of the poor mazda. Or with those horrifingly awful aluminum wings on the back that makes anything its on look like a shopping cart, it just kills me. I saw a guy like that once, I looked inside the car and he had the 'R racing' floor mats with the 'R racing' seat covers and a SNAKE HEAD SHIFT KNOB! I almost had a stroke it was so horrible. I couldent believe that someone actually thought that this looks good. I almost feel bad for him.

In a perfect world my car would still be in pristiene shape. Although if you would like to pay for the damage other peopel have done to it (my car has been hit 5 times while parked) feel free.

Amen to that, I would never be caught dead with anything "Type-R" in or on my MX-3. As soon as i see one of those "2 fast 2 furious" aluminum wings I lose all respect for the owner of the car. 9 out of 10 times its a front wheel drive import and the wing is about 12 inches off the back trunk. Follow me for a sec here, lets just say those tin car spoilers ACTUALLY caused some downforce.... The downforce would push the back end of the car down and the front end up. That would mean you are reducing traction! And this is the question I ask the "Type-R spoiler kiddies:" WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO A FRONT WHEEL DRIVE CAR?!?! REAL drag race cars have them right? Thats because they can reach over 300mph on a run and are RWD. Even if you were to mount the "shopping cart spoiler" on your hood.... still any spoiler over 2 inches high is useless to any street car. Unless your traveling at speeds over about 200mph. Once people hear that they always come back and say "its for style" .....but mounting one of these spoilers on your FWD street or even drag MX-3 just shows you are an idiot and nothing more. Congrats.... you have shown your true colors! :pimp:

same here if i repaired my car every time someone bumped it in a car park> it would cost me a fortune in 3 months it got hit 4 times>>>

but i do agree with you on the true RICE boy's . i saw a £15,000 car almost brand new today and the kid driving it must have spent 50p for each one of the modifying products on the car>
aluminium wing
more crappy hood scoops than i could count
draw on light clusters
and a "fast as fook" sticker in back window
i mean wtf such an absolute waste of nice cars.

f1 cars use them just fine.

the rear spoilers look good on some cars.
and have been pretty popular long before fast and furious.

I mean stuff that can be helped like missing headlights etc... and when I am talking about damage I am talking about DAMAGE.. like why are they driving it? Theres this girl around here with the drivers side all messed up the gs front air dam nowhere to be found and the clips that hold it on are rusting making brown streaks all over the front of her white car.. and the last time I saw it one of the headlights was burnt out.. horrible..

HAHA, that's the exact same story/thing I get. It's not "style", "YOU'RE an idiot".

lol..
i actually read that civic's top out at 135mph or so.. and the rear spoilers, depending on how high they are, can take off as much as 20mph off their top speed! :D

If I ever saw a MX3 with a big shopping cart wing I would kick it off. I don't care if the owner was a huge guy that could kick my *** ... it's just wrong. There are so many civics, cavaliers and just plain old generic beaters that have those. What are they thinking??
It's even more funny when you pull up near them and see that when they SPRAY PAINTED there bumper they also accidently got the top of there liscence plate. Of course they top it off with a HUGE exhaust that hangs an extra foot under the car and sounds like some one just **** themselves when they take off.

i will admit that some cars do lool pretty good with a high-downforce spoiler when properly done:

<img src="http://www.mazdamaniac.com/images/stills/new2.jpg" alt=" - " />

I heard about some buy that has a hard time going like 100hkm'h cause his spoiler would bring the front wheel off the ground
