Thats the Purge Control Solenoid, on the K8 it sits on the firewall just above the black cannister but on the ZE it's mounted on the engine.

Purge control solenoid. One hose connects to the black cannister and the other to the bottom of the TB.

I had the same experience has kp2t with ZFR plugs. ZE ran irratically pulled them out checked the gap and to my surprise the gap had halved to about 0.5mm. Installed some BKR's and running strong!

Check your cat (maybe it's partially blocked?)

Where are you sourcing your ze from?

Hey Bigtime where are you located in Perth?

It's your Purge solenoid which controls your idle. One hose goes to your charcoal cannister and the other to the bottom of your TB. On your MX3 the old Purge solenoid sits just behind the TB on a bracket bolted to the body.

Im in Perth WA. Just follow the swap info and you'll be fine. Yes I'm using the original gearbox and K8 ecu for now.

Rick I'm definately intersted in a KL31. When are you getting some more?

First off hi to all the Australian 30x ownwers! Grant isn't the KL28 ecu from an Australian KLDE MX6? Also why would the KL28 provide cleaner emmissions?
Congrats Slim on the KLZE I've just finished installing mine just need to sort out my idle issues and get a KLZE ecu.
