the answers have been posted several times, but i'll get ya started... 1. They are better than stock in regards to performance. They are a Ford RACING product 2. best springs would be the ZX2 Eibach springs, they are designed specifically for the struts, but MX3 H&R's work well too. 3. yes, do a...

Well, you know which ones i'll vote for ;)

I hadn't seen the Pro Race till now, not digging the dimples on the spokes by the rim edge, but i do dig the 35mm offset, even if it's only a 3mm difference :)

Either one will be the mAd tYte yO

the frame bushings will work, as mentioned, but the endlinks are different.

the OEM front bar on a Protege/Escort GT is 22mm
the OEM rear bar is 20mm for early 90-91 Proteges, 21mm all others

you can get a little camber just from stock, but not much. Camber plates are best, but crash bolts can get you about 1-1.25* of neg camber. But in my experience, crash bolts don't hold up well to the abuse of racing. I'd try to get max neg camber up front (1.5-3.5*) and maybe 1.5* neg out back. Rear...

mmm, all the more reason he should lead by example... he could strap his buddy to the hood and have him hold the camera there for all i care. But any region sanctioned by the SCCA would be in a world of hurt if they *allowed* him to have the passenger hold the camera, and ended up with a Handycam as...

for a little added negative camber point them towards the windsheild.

i'm pretty sure it's the same for the MX3, but the FSM shows the specs for each rotational position.

Your new so you probably don't know, but your lucky to have gotten that by the Safety Steward. Passengers acting as the cameraman is a definete no-no.

You are going to need the mx3 subframe to swap a klze into a protege, to align the gearbox mount's and also the axles. mmmm, i know it's been done without a subframe swap... or maybe it was just never mentioned, cause all the ppl i've talked to have never mentioned the subframe was needed, but the ...

there is only one model of ZX2, 98-03. (actually there is a ZX2 sport model, but the suspension is the same)

i'd suggest the ZX2 Eibach springs as they are exactly what the ZX2 struts are designed for.

this may be a hard question to answer, but i'm gonna ask anyways. the issue you guys have with the axles, are they too short or too long? i am putting a ZE in my Protege. There is a 30mm difference in track width between the MX3 and Protege (slightly different subframe) so if the axles are too short...

well, for me, i have Brembo rotors and Hawk HPS pads. Not that the HPS pads destroy rotors, but had this setup for about 3 years, even with slotted/dimpled rotors the pads are still 50% good, and the rotors are probably still 80% good. I guess i'm not very hard on brakes :D Tires are a different sto...
