An old forum member saying goodbye!
Just wanted to let everyone know that I've finally sold my 96 RS that I've had since 2001. It's been given to a friend, so it's in good hands. Thanks to everyone and their help over the years! It's been a good time. The MX-3 was my winter car and will soon be replaced by the Protege 5. My DD is a 20...

[FS] K&N Filter for 94+ DOHC 4cyl MX-3 <London, O
I have a used K&N filter for an MX-3. Great shape, just re-oiled last year. Perfect shape, no defects. I'll take $30 or best offer, it's $80+ at Canadian Tire. Just email me at tommy@tommyv2.com for questions or offers.

Valve cover gasket leaking, even after replacement
Yes, I did a search - I just want some new wisdom. 96 RS - VC was leaking (front right and at distributor hump), so I replaced it with a new gasket from the dealer. The old gasket looked perfect when I took it out. I applied gasket compound around the distributor. I tighted the VC in the order the s...

For those of you who like CSI and a good laugh
Since you guys gave me such a good response on my job quitting article, I thought I'd amuse you with my article about how CSI screwed up my life. You probably wouldn't find it very interesting if you don't watch the show, but if you do, you'll probably get a kick out of it. http://www.tommyv2.com/05...

Part of a finger found? Call in CSI. They'll match the DNA and then they can grab a finger print off the finger and determine the person's height, age, hair colour and type of transmission in their car. All in a day's work, right? I'm going to Wendy's. I can't imagine finding anything in a baked pot...

I quit my job and it's the best feeling ever! Hahaha
As many of you on mx3.com know, I run my own website. A few weeks ago, I quit my horrible job doing tech support for Verizon. They made me fill out an exit interview, so before I handed it in, I decided to scan it and post it on my website. Enjoy! http://www.tommyv2.com/05march14b.htm I wish it wasn...

Hard to believe the difference it makes!
If anyone's ever been wondering if aftermarket wheels make a real big difference in the look of your MX3, wonder no more.

Re: check enigine light
Sarah, I got the same problem. It's easy to replace the o2 sensors except that it's so amazingly expensive to do so. My Check Engine Light usually takes a few days to come back too...it's like fake happiness until it comes back! My car's a 96 so I have to buy TWO damn o2 sensors..that's the worst. I...

I'm using the Motomaster Nordic Icetrac tires. Great for the price, tried them out a few times, dramatic difference between those and all season. It's no miracle, but damn close!

Re: Floor mats with "Mazda MX3" on them...
They're very hard to find! You can't get them from Mazda anymore - I tried :crying: You CAN however get dressed warmly and go to the junkyard and go hunting for ones in decent shape. I got mine for $2 a piece and they were pretty much in perfect shape. You can't go wrong with that. Good luck! <small...

That's HOT!
All right, so next questions: what year Ford Explorer? Now I want LED brake light and won't stop until I get it!
Got any pics of your process work?
Thanks!
