I have had mine clear with red bulbs for 2 yrs, no problems. Really they only car at night in which time it will be red so I see no fault with it at all

it's from fxdesigns, it's easy install just clip on pretty much and bolt after it's been painted of course. Was a really good fit. if you don't mind taking the time to do it yourself, do it. This way you can try to hide the bulbs as much as possible which on an mx-3 isn't that hard minus the sides you'll see a bit.
