i had my car lowered on 18's and then put the stock rims back on..... IMO it dosent look right to have no wheel well gap and that much rubber..... but its not bad i guess, a 16 or 17 inch rim would be ideal

14"s give me a better idea than 17's :) The thing is im worried that lowering the car on 15's will be too low.. And i really dont wanna goto 17's but thats close enough to what i was lookin for. Thanks dude :) :2thumbsup:

Lowering your car with 14" rims or with 15" rims id no different then lowering your car with 17" or 18" rims.

The outside circumference of the rubber is identical if done properly.

It is only the "look" that will be different.

Your car will not be any lower when lowere with 14" rims as opposed to 18" rims.

well, 14" rims with low profile tires, will obviously screw up your outer circumference.

it would look pretty homey though... :pimp:

Exactomondo Jeff, outside circumference is the key. Car was designed with a specific outside tire diameter by some very enlightened factory designers. I will not profess to know better. Deviating from the designed circumference could lead to some unforseen handling issues, not to mentioned your speedo will be way out of wack.

hey you can look at my cardomain website, I have exactly what your talking about. i have 15x7 wheels that are a little lighter then stock and look a bit nicer, with 205/50/15 tires which is smaller then stock as well. My car is lowered 1.75 all the way around with intrax springs, so you'll see what the gap looks like
