i like barry's, though i've never been a fan of cf hoods on anything other than black or really dark cars. however, i would like to know where the slim window lip things (rain gaurds or whatever) came from, and how hard they are to install.

depends on what spoiler you have, i haven't seen very many that i personally like on the mx-3, but that's my personal tastes. i'd just say look for someone that has a similar set up as you but with a hatch garnish instead of a spoiler, or just look for anyone with a hatch garnish. it's all about you...

it's usually cheaper to build one yourself, and not too hard, mine didn't take very long to build, and a similar one could probably hold the 12's.

anyways, to build your own you'd be looking at around $30-40 usd. to buy one from most places it'd be closer to $100.

yeah that's pakfiefer's rear lip, they want like $300 cdn for it i think, it's near the top of the kit page. i've been wanting it to, but not for that much.

yeah i built my own for my two 10's (link to some pics in the sig) i think customs are much better since they can be made to fit. mine snugs right up to the back of the seat and leaves usable space in the hatch area. not to mention that something made for a car always looks better than generic ones....

is it still under warranty? have you tried contacting panasonic about a replacement? maybe a dealer can help? just some thoughts, there's a chance you can get it replaced free or for less than $100 anyways.

do you have the model number for the clarion corssover? i might be interested, but i'd like to check on it first. some pics of the outputs would be usefull too, since the one i'm thinking it is on their site doesn't show them.

i could never think an mx-3 looks anything like any neon ever made. for starters, the headlights are completly different, the car's shape is completely different..whatever.

are you sure that's the gear box? anyways, yeah, that's cool, wish i had a chance to try it.
