Great racing vid. Impressive piece of driving. DO NOT turn up too loud, the gearbox is insanely loud.

That's definetely the gearbox. When your driving a car at speed on a race track noises like that don't bother you. Your too busy driving.

its a straight cut gear set, your reverse gear makes noise because its straight cut

A sound like that would annoy me no matter what. His car is rediculously faster then all the other ones whats up with that? Good driving though, nice vid.

My guess is that it's a mixed class race and he started off in the back/mid-pack because of penalties maybe. Also, it's a mixture of poorly driven cars and the in-video car just doing a great job in the braking zone(s). And yes, Im still positive it's a squealing gearbox

If you don't believe me, you can ask M. Kibort on SCCA Pro Racing Bulletin yourself. That's him driving the video. I believe he is also racing in Speed WC GT this year too.
