I'll looking for a new car so I'll be selling my MX-3 soon. It a Green/Teal 5sp 4-cyc. Damage on the drivers side door, needs shocks.

It's your idle air controller. It's located on/near the thottle body. Its main function is to let enough air into the engine when the throttle body plate is shut. For some reason it gets gunked up, prolly by the oil vapor coming in from the valve cover. New one costs $225 or so from autozone. Easy f...

When you check you tranny fluid, do your self a favor and get some rubber gloves. The kind doctors wear. Most auto shops sell them these days.<p>No joke either, The oil can smell like A$$. Really!!! Plus it sinks into your skin and stays around for a couple days.

He was asking for a throttle body not the MAF.<p>Don't think you can swap any into the MX3. Although I could be wrong.<p>Corksport sells a bored out throttle body made by bulkers.
