Re: Tming Belt tensioner (to change or not to change)

I'd change it....

once you take everything you need apart to do the job you'll see why people change parts that aren't necessarily needed. I did my waterpump at the same time just because I didn't want to do it again for a while.

your power boost at roughly 5k rpm is your VRIS kicking in. The heated seats dont get overly hot I've noticed, just warm. If yours aren't getting warm I'd check fuses first. Which light stays on the red parking brake light or the ABS light? If its the red one you need to do some adjusting of the par...

There were 2 different shaft sizes used on the MX. not sure if that matters or not john when i worked at canadian tire they listed a rebuilt one and new ones. The new ones showed up with different shaft sizes but t...

are the h beam rods longer then the 2.5 or 2.3 or is it just the photoshop? Looking at that photo the h beam wouldnt work at that length without moving the wrist pin up on the piston.

I suspect its just photoshopped together though. Am I right?

if its the same price as the v powers then go ahead. There isn't much of a difference between the iridiums and the normals they claim to burn more fuel but thats just a load of crap.

FYI Bosch and Champion are the same company just 2 different brand names.

if you have a klde use ZFR6E-11

Those are all NGK product numbers btw so don't go looking at the bosch for those numbers. NGK plugs are better anyways

91 octane is the required octane for a ZE.

Its 102 in japan so when you do all the conversions it adds up to 91 in North America

EDIT: Might I also point you guys into the direction of the octane FAQ I posted a while ago that'll give you tons of answers. FAQ: Octane rating and what it means
