how can i tell if i have a stock engine or a upgraded one??

Hi all!
I'm a total newbe and just bought my first MX3 GS.

Question is can i tell if i have a 1.8 engine or something else in there by just looking at it?

Why i ask?

This car i bought came with some mods and is lowered.

I also drove my buddies mx3gs and mine feels much more powerful.

Maybe i got a bigger engine??

quickest check.... look in between the intake runners at the head. If you see K8 in the number its still the stock engine.

K8 - Stock 1.8L
KL - KLDE 2.5L V6 - 165hp
KL31 - KLZE 2.5L V6 - 198hp
