Re: ZX2 Complaint Solution Solved
They make kyb struts for the zx2 car but everyone on this forum make me think that thier just as good as the OEM stock zx2 struts. I;m referer to kyb struts made for the zx2 car not kyb struts that are made for are mx3 cars.

ZX2 Complaint Solution Solved
I'm saving up right now to purchase some struts and lowering springs. My total that I hope to spend is $500. I was going to get some zx2 struts but after researching about them I realized I would need something a bit stronger that would handle my crazy driving. I love that the zx2 strut gives you a ...

Re: Turbo project fuel setup????
I think i'm seeing the big picture now. The FMU pressure regulator is use to richen things up and the apexi' AFC controller is use to control how rich and lean things get. Right?

Re: 1.6L flywheel on a 1.8L tranny
Can you explain yourself better? Will I be able to use the 1.6L SOHC flywheel and the 1.6L SOHC clutch pressure plate on a Protege lx tranny if i just change the clutch disc from a 1.6L disc to a 1.8L DOHC disc so it can slide onto the LX tranny spline?

1.6L flywheel on a 1.8L tranny
Is there even a difference between the 1.8 and the 1.6 flywheel/clutch? I am curious about this. I am using the 1.6L SOHC flywheel and 1.6L SOHC ACT clutch and the 1.6L SOHC tranny on my BP protege lx engine. I just got the clutch so I figure when i swap to the protege lx tranny i can use the 1.6L s...

Re: BP motor swap in SOHC MX-3 Update
Is this true? I need to get new axle and I want to put in the protege lx axle.if you are still using the stock tranny i think you need to keep the stock axels, you can't use the BP ones.

Re: Loud Muffler
Is a Cherry Bomb, glass back and a resonator the same thing? I can't take all these different terms. I'm sold in the idea of putting one of those systems between my engine and muffler but i need to know the difference. I'm so tired of the muffler sounding like a pebble bouncing around in a tin can

BP Motor---Custom Turbo or N/A Build-up
I've been reasearching for awhile, trying to come up with a list of parts that I will need for an affordable custom turbo set up for my BP Protege LX motor. So far I have come up with this list: For the fuel management: 1. Apexi AFC controller $340.00 2. 1993-up RX7 twin turbo fuel pump $130.00 3. C...

Re: BP motor swap in SOHC MX-3 Update
Enough play that it makes a clunk noise everytime I release that clutch in first gear. Last time I was under the car I grabed the axle and I was able to move it side to side. It sounded like the noise I hear when I'm driving.

Re: Loud Muffler
Well I planning to put in a custom turbo on my motor in a couple of month. I heard that a turbo motor will make the muffler not sound so loud.Is that true or not? So, I guess I'll hold out for longer with the loud noise.

Re: a F25M-R or G25M-R
The code for all of the G series PROTEGE 1.8 DOHC gearbox's were: G5M-R from the 90-92 model yrs. G25M-R from the 93-94 model yrs. And that's not missinformation. This is 100% fact. I have the Protege manaul and this information is correct. The 1990-1992 1.6L SOHC and 1.8L SOHC motor come with the ...
