Nope my Sohc is a 93 and on the valve cover it says 16 valve. They were used in the 92-93 RS. The 8 valves were in 323's.<BR>Jim<BR>93 RS

Road and track did a test on the 4 cilinder mx3 in a article called little squirts in 93. They said it was 88 hp and any other reputable source says 88hp. That is all it is. That is all it is ever going to be.<BR>Jim<BR>93 RS

A BPT is 1.8 that is turbo, it is out of a familia, GTR. The B6T is a 1.6 DOHC turbo, it is found in 323 and 323 gtx and also Mercury Capri XR2's.<BR>Jim<BR>93 RS

The 92-93 model years of the rs had the 1.6 sohc engine. It was rated at 88hp. I dont know how it compares to the 8 valve version though.<BR>Jim<BR>93 RS

The DOHC neons are 143HP, the SOHC are 128HP. Any how they both arent to sluggish if stock to stock race i would say the neon buy a little. If a slightly modified race,ex.exhaust,intake.
