Re: Low priced coileovers
Whatever aftermarket springs you use they are likely to be stiffer than stock (they better be) and therefore need better shocks, and however you lower camber issue will be the same. In other words neither has any influence on the quality of the spring setup. BTW, if you really have no cash, cutting ...

Re: idle gets low and sometimes stalls when brake iz applied
Brake shake is either stiff sliders warped disks or both. I think there is supposed to be a gizmo to compensate idle for various loads, air, charge, bla bla bla, see if it slows for anything else, like try put the air on if you have it.

Re: Syncromesh
I heard that a stainless clutch flex line helps, if you're pulling the engine anyway though, giver on the box too while it's out. I noticed mine is fine when it's really warm, but sucks in the cold weather. i'm thinking if the rubber hose is a problem, it might be made worse by the fluid getting thi...

Re: just got a 94 gs...help?
If it was your head gasket, it wouldn't matter if it was cold or not. The colder it gets the more white you see it's just like when you can see your breath on a cold day. If it's marginaly cold you'll see the white for a couple of minutes, if it's really cold you'll get clouds all the time. This mor...

If you have MX-6's 626's or Ford Probes you could rob one of those.

Check the FAQ bulitin, it's your lifters, synthetic oil, oil flushing, and genuine Mazda filters help. Most people seem to find thin oil best, mine seems to like thick? - 5w50. Welcome to the weak point of these motors.

Re: Hesitating
And yet another thing, mine stalls if you take the cap off while running, but I think this is because it has a positive crankcase venting system, so that your whole crankcase become part of the vacuum system, this reduces windage in the crankcase, but if you take the cap off it's like having a HUGE ...

Oh. one more thing, you can find leaks with a bottle of WD-40, much safer than Propane!

Re: Hesitating
Hey, I have a similar thing with mine but at about 3000 rpm, I thought it was just the torque dip at the VRIS change you can see on the torque curve, but sometimes it doesn't do it. It's most likely to be best when the car his hot and the weather cold, but not always. Some days it has SO much more p...

Re: KN Airfilter
Yes the pipe over the rad is for cold air, but my reasoning was this pipe looks quite restrictive, so what's better, cold air or more air? Apparently more, but more cold air would obviously be best.

Re: Plz help me
I have drasticly reduced the ticking in my motor by running thick synthetic oil (I tried thinner first and it seemed to be worse in my motor for some reason). Try Mobil 1 15-50 or Mobil ? 5-50. 5-50 should be better for starting, but I didn' t see it when I did my change so I have the 15-50 stuff. A...

Re: KN Airfilter
I haven't noticed any adverse effect. I think the pipe reduces noise (it was louder when off and looked like it could be shaped for noise reduction.) It is possible you might get a a warmer intake charge. Try it though, it takes like 2 minutes to take off and you can put it back as quickly if you do...
