Re: Leather seat cover - How to?
Oh man, doing it in a heated hanger? I hate you sooo much. I get to d--- around with charging systems in my freezing a-- driveway. I'm about 80% sure there's some info floating around here about someone doing it, and for some reason I think the clamps I was talking about are actually hogtie clips. C...

I've got a spare set of exhaust manifolds that ran fine on my K8 that you're welcome to have. Located in Calgary too.
Take care of that knock eh?

Re: Leather seat cover - How to?
Did you buy the covers or the seats? If you bought the covers you should buy some hog clamp(?) pliers, they are specifically for upholstery, it will save you massive hassle. You'll have to pull the covers off of a 92-93 set of seats and install the leather ones over top and either reuse the clamps o...

Sorry to hear that you're selling man, I'm always hunting for turbo parts so I'd like to take a look at what you've got.

Re: Where to get uncut keys?
You can buy some sweet ones on ebay and get them cut but honestly it seems like all keys made for our car are destined to get damaged due to how long they are.
I've just got one pretty looking OE one, two cut spares and a keyless entry system that I use all of the time to preserve my keys.

Re: Power Steering is awful, I just want it gone!
There is a method to depowering the rack that involves looping it and removing a valve. From what I hear it's really f---ing hard to turn then though.
Mazda 323 rack is manual and is a direct fit with GS tie rod ends, just an idea.
PS is great though, love that s---.

Re: which way to go on new engine?
Welcome. What exactly is wrong with your cars engine? And there are three basic K series engine swaps you could do, KF-ZE, KL-DE and KL-ZE, which are 2.0L, 2.5L and 2.5L, respectively. A lot of folks have reported good(sometimes better) gas mileage after doing the swaps. All three of these engines m...

Re: Making a list for K8 To KLZE swap
Removed axle nuts, removed two bolts on the strut to seperate the strut and the spindle, removed brake line mount thing and then just pulled the spindle out till I could get the axle out of the spindle. Then pulled the axle out by tugging to the side and yanking after prying from the actual trans.

Re: Making a list for K8 To KLZE swap
The PS is pretty awkward, best to go over the top IMO. You have to remove the actual pump from the bracket, then the bracket from the trans(it likes to catch on stuff too, POS). For the axles I removed the axle nuts, undid the struts, and pulled the axles out that way. Make it easier since theres a ...
