This is my Project car 95 mx-3



I bought the car I think in 08 with a ZE swap from a member here(Kirk95gs)! here's the link to his worklog: viewtopic.php?f=46&t=60776

after that I started collecting part for a turbo set up
I bought Rebel2k4 turbo setup in 09 and then blew the engine later that year!
Car sat for the winter I then got an other ZE from tigers which didnt even last a week and spun a bearing.

Well after that being a student and all I didnt touch that car till a few weeks ago I got the engine out.

I dont realy know the plan from now.. Im still in university so this is gonna be a slow project as tje car is in my parent garage 2h away from where I study.

I should tear the engine down in a couple week to see whats the damage. then should take a decision if im gonna rebuild or buy an other engine to put in.

Again TigerJap, well sounds like your prioritizing right. School needs to come first. Man that garage looks sweet, concrete floor and up stairs storage. Pick and peck away at the car when you can, maybe scope out another engine and compare that price to rebuilding. There's a good place to buy motors in Montreal (see nitefires worklog). Keep us posted and if you decide to sell some stuff dibs on the fuel pump Cheers

Yeah garage is sweet! helped my father build it last summer! 28x32 i think if I remember correctly

Theres is a good chance I just get a junkyard KL to get this thing boosted and hope it last a year or two.
would give me a chance to rebuild the current one with stronger internal.

so this summer I got a junkyard KL in it. was burning a lot of oil so didn't want to turbo it,

at least I got to enjoy the car again!

Car is now For sale.

if it sell for close to what I want I'll have a bunch of turbo part for sale in the near future.

Basicaly all the parts that I have accumulate throught the year will be for sale. (you can see in the second post what I have collected over the year)
Also alot of spare part like alternator valvecover etc.( I got 3 different KL in this car so basicaly everything that come attached to the engine I have)
I'll be taking the hatch shade and vent visor off the car prior to selling.

This turbo setup did 400+ HP on a stock KL.

If anybody is interested in some stuff let me know.

I'll get some picture of everything if and when the car sell and will be doing an official FS thread.

taped oilpan/oil line to fit the pan/pipe setup
aem electronic boost controller.
Nissand 550cc injector with bored rail
255 Walbro
modded cross member

im sure im forgeting some stuff

also have Brand new traction bar setup
full witbushing set

Would rather sell the turbo kit all at once but if there's no interest i will part it out.
