So I plan to do my swap k8 to klze soon is it easier to take the motor out from the top or the bottom.

If the heads are off the motor you can just tap it out of the cylinder and it comes out. That way the whole piston comes out.

This may be late but I never split my block I just took the oil pan off and got a long extension in there, the bottom part of the piston falls out with the bottom bearing and you gently tap out the top with a light hammer and screw driver. They are notorious for bad transmissions, and electrolysis.I'm going to say one thing about automatic... Chrysler. 4 trannies all blewdoing 110 km/h down the highway and the car dropped to "safety mode" AKA 110 km/h in 2nd gear. .. Never again

One ghetto way to fix it is have someone lift up the shifter, once it comes though you can drill a small hole one each side and put a small nut and bolt on it to hold it up, works pretty well. I drove on it for close to a 8 months before I got my short shifter. I think everyone is in shock and laugh...

I would do a vacuum treatment with Seafoam it wouldnt hurt anything, and pour the rest of the can in your tank.

Carb cleaner is a safe spray to put in your vaccum system, also works great for cleaning the throttle body. This may sound weird but does it idle with your air conditioning on my compressor went out on my 93 a few years ago. At the pick and pull I could only find MX-6 with the V6 so I used its compr...

The seal for the spark plugs is part of the valve cover gasket, so you do have to remove it, if oil is on the plugs that would prevent it from firing correctly. Hmmm...never heard of it. No depending on the scanner it can scan older models, I use my Snap On MT2500 with the asian cartridge and Mazda adapter all the time.Haley wrote:
