Re: FC turbo II intercooler?
ever notice wrx/sti upgrades include a front mount intercooler? more effecient. it's one thing if you want the looks, but a fmic is a more effecient setup.

Re: Distributor Replacement -- Frustrated & Clueless
jumper the ten and ground terminals in the diagnostic box. get a timing light, connect the timing light to the battery, and put the clamp on the #1 plug wire. turn on the car, shoot the gun at the timing marks on the crank pulley. gently turn the distributor one way or the other until you're at 10* ...

Re: Clutch making a noise on pull off.
it's not limited to just those two things. first of all, is the noise coming from inside the car, or from the engine bay?
while it very well could be one of the bearings, there's not enough proof to assume that's the culprit.

Re: Oxygen sensor fried in bpt?
if it's been running rich, it's dead. I had to replace mine because of this. the heating element shouldn't cause a problem with it, as all it does is heat it up faster to get a quicker reading.

Re: Bp intake manifold on bpt..
you should see some pretty good gains considering the higher CR and better flowing head/intake. the only thing holding you back is the turbo itself. unless you have a wicked i/c setup, it's going to get heat soaked pretty quick. upper rpm's, the turbo is a bottleneck.

depends. where will it be mounted? how much boost? for a stock boost level and mounted up front, you'll be fine.

Re: Bp intake manifold on bpt..
like was stated, the gt-r intake manifold is the better option over the 2 piece bp one.
what you were told was someone's misguided attempt to remember the facts.
the bp HEAD flows a lot more than the bpt head, which will net you some extra ponies.

Re: turbo in the trunk
the increased piping creates a larger pressure drop. this means to run 5psi at the engine, you might have to run 9 psi at the turbo. this in turn creates more heat which robs power as well. it will also put more strain on the turbo, and depending on the specs, could max out it's effeciency rather qu...

Re: BPT swap completed BUT problem with "cardan?"
you can't use a 94+ jackshaft on a bp motor as the bolts don't line up. if you use/keep the f-series tranny, you have to use a 92-93 one piece axle.

bro, you're making yourself look bad. also, the last time i checked, the mason-dixon line doesn't mean jack anymore. if you want to live in the past and b!tch about stuff you can't change, go ahead, that's your right. though i ask one thing of you, at least try to sound somewhat intelligent in what ...

don't apologize for anything. while i think the media coverage every year is pathetic, i think it's good people remember what happened. there are too many people that just like to whine and complain. screw'em.
