You can't really "flush" a manual trans, but if you want to wash out the stuff that's collected in the bottom just change the fluid.Originally posted by UoMDeacon:

My 94 MX-6/626 shop manual shows the ABS control unit is mounted under the dash on the driver's side over near the door/fender. A used CV joint would be a mistake.
Replace both axles with rebuilt ones.
Pull the axle and stuff a rag in the transmission case hose to keep the spider gears in place.

You might have a leak in the vacuum hose from the intake manifold to the brake booster or you might have a leak in the brake booster diaphragm.
