I just asked the same question on the pump, the stocker will be fine even for the ZE. I found plenty on eBay for around $60 US if you can wait a few extra days else Autozone has them for $130 US. Apparently the RX7 pump is also OK to use if they are easier to source. There is a good troubleshooting...

On the HEI mod am I supposed to remove the bracket that held the stock coil in place or does it have no effect at all ?

On our cars there really wont be anything noticeable by feel from 100-200 lbs out but 1/4 mile numbers may say differently which is why I stick mostly to rotating parts because you can feel it without seeing official numbers.

I replaced my Temp. sensor ( the green one ) but it did nothing for me lol...$26.99 later still dies XD

What are the other two sensors called the 2 pin lack one and the single wire black one ? Maybe i'll replace those as well and have some good fortune for doing so.

Yeah theres all types of aftermarket support for our cars and all mazdas basically.

Type in headbolt for search and youll pull up more than you think :)

How about weight reduction? What sorta things have people done to lighten these cars? Weight reduction won't do anything for a 'constantly' held speed such as 65 mph for an hour or whatever. Weight reduction is mainly focused on getting up to speed faster however, You can go with lighter rims and l...

Check right at the base of the disty plug. Usually those wires and the wirecovers crack/break it seems and sends low signals and catches interference from the surroundings.
