Re: Im2bad4ya - '92 RS BP Journal/Suspension Stuff - "Lucky"
yeah, pretty much. And my idle is never constant, when my car behaves, it's at 750RPM. But sometimes after its warm, i can go down as low as 500 with the brake or high as 850. I don't know if it's related with the dim. Though it's been like that since I installed my CAI. it'll usually idle below 750...

Which Mazda rims would you go with??
This is my car today: http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f143/skrachvynl/MX-3/IMG_1939.jpg I got these Protege rims sometime a year ago. I love em! Gives my car a stock, but updated look. But they are starting to wear off on me a little and I might be looking to update once again. I wanna keep the st...

Re: Im2bad4ya - '92 RS BP Journal/Suspension Stuff - "Lucky"
When I did my GS Alt swap, I was really happy to see my headlights and interior lights not dim when I pushed in the brakes. Not a necessary mod at all, but it just clears out those little "inconveniences" that make driving the car a better experience. I still get a slight dimming of the i...

LOL, love the commentary. Especially the one with (TOO MANY MODS!!). Apparently his money is tight, that's why he's selling the car for $50. Tough times, maybe needs the money to buy 3 matching Saturn rims.

Re: Highway Scammer PWN3D By Dashcam
There's an app for that! What I mean is, I use my iPhone quite extensively in my car. I use it to play my music, as my GPS, and when I don't use my GPS as a stand alone speedometer. I have it mounted on the dash and sometimes I record my drives for situations like this. I'm glad I've never be...

Re: Digital Cluster conversion
Good job man! 8) Post up the final product. I was inspired to do my own digital clusters as well when I found out that a EDM Mazda had digital gauges that fit our cars, except the speedometer is in KM/H. I'll first have to swap my mechanical speedo to electrical (already have the cluster, currently ...

Re: I want my cake and eat it too [muffler question]
Yeah, the B engines are pretty loud. I have a stock cat, i opted not to go with the high flow because I still want my car to pass state inspection and was told high flow cats wouldn't pass emissions test. Unfortunately the cat is welded to the resonator, so it's not as easy as unbolting the high flo...

I want my cake and eat it too [muffler question]
Maybe some guys here can help me with this. I have a magnaflow muffler [ http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopexd.asp?zone=main&id=9596 ] and I've left the silencer on. Even with the silencer I think it's still too loud (yes, generally speaking it's too loud as far as mufflers go). I also have...

Re: Light Bulbs! Light Bulbs! Get your Light Bulbs here!
I do have these on my mx3 and I didn't notice difference, maybe it's just me. What did make difference when I wetsanded and polished faded plastic lights. It just so happened that the day after this thread was posted one of my headlights went out. So I gave it a shot and ordered a pair. Just instal...

Re: I wonder how our forum members turned out...
you'll never break even on any car. if you buy a new car you effectively toss your monthly payments out the window, because each year your car loses it's value. Our cars are generally no different. the money spent on keeping it up, is probably the same amount you spend on a new car as it's breaking...
