Re: Trial fit intercooler
If you need ideas on where to move the battery then you can look at my pics altantamx-3.com , look for Patrick's pics. I bought a battery relocation kit (battery box, vent tube, wire and all necessary mounting hardware)and then moved it to the corner of the trunk, removed the rear washer bottle, ran...

Re: KLZE suppliers in Florida
I know that it is not in FL, but Best Japanese Engines in Marietta, GA. (5 min. north of Atlanta) has alot of them (6 or so last time I was there) I paid 1300 for mine and got a really clean one. Not that they wash them, just no oil leaks, rust, etc. They will pull any one you want to look at and ho...

Koni makes the MazdaSpeed struts anyway. Just paint them and rename them and viola! MazdaSpeed however is the only one who seels them allready adjustable for the MX.

Re: Can I reasonably do the timingbelt setting by myself?
Jeesum Petes, Don't do that! You'll end up missing fingers! All you have to do to get the timing marks to line up is to 1. take off all the stuff that covers the timing cove: power steering-accesory belts-dip stick-accessory belt tensioners-water pump pulley-timing cover 2. take off timing belt 3. t...

Re: Squealing belts. Too tight? Too loose? Or just breaking
They are probably alittle loose, but new belts have a tendancy to squeel anyway. Go to the auto parts store and get some belt dressing (a kinda wax that will condition them) that should help.

Re: Insurance On ZE
No one can truely answer your question unless they are an insurance adjuster for your car insurance company in your state. Different states have different laws about car insurance. Different insurance companies have different guide lines regarding undisclosed modified parts on a car. If you don't te...

Re: E-break question
Best I can remeber that button screws into the handle and slides back and forth on a spring. So try to screw it back in first. I have a spare E-brake handle around. I'll look at it and see if it still has the button and let you know for sure.

Re: Altezza Tail lights Sealing Issues
From what I've seen of the tails you need to locate several holes that the manufacturer didn't seal. Look for any holes in the rest that has allready been sealed and touch them up, but you don't want to make a mess by resealing the whole thing. PS, in my experience the Rubber Sealant is a ****** to ...

Re: Installed straight neck manifold on my klze, works just
Yeah, I also installed the ZE intake and it WILL need to be modified. You can rev the motor while sittng there and see that it will hit. The motor under torque will move alot more than when it is sitting so don't be stupid and think that you're ok because you revved it and it didn't hit. I suggest t...

Well ,I hope someone knows. I would like to know myself. FYI I think that the forged pistons would be better. They should hold up to more pressure.
