bad distributor

i changed the distributor and it worked. This is strange, since the measurments of the primary and secondary were good.

I would also check the air filter, if it is dirty and clogged it will
affect the performance. it should be checked about once a year or so.

I have a 94 Integra, and it has a bleeding bolt, I just unscrew it, and air comes out at first, and then when coolant comes out, I screw it back. so do i have to remove the catalytic converter or not? because i would try to avoid removing it. Is it possible to remove it through the top?

My first question to you is: did you put the right alternator?
