Oh, and I just have to ask......why does everyone keep asking about legalities? The state troopers around here cruise at about 100mph so they're obviously NOT too concerned about the speed limit. :x Or maybe they just think they're ABOVE the law. Hmmmmm. What's good for them is good for me. Enough s...

Tell you what, I need to go to the store in a few, so I'll take the interstate and jump up to 130mph. When I come back I'll tell you what the rpm was. Just off the top of my head, I know for a fact that I can hit 100 at about 4500rpm. I'm pretty sure 130 is somewhere around 6000, but I'll let you kn...

This makes me wonder what type of mx-3 that YOU have. Mine still has the chumpy 1.6 SOHC and I can smoke most stock Hondas except for the new ones with the VTEC variable valve timing set-up. And 100mph comes up pretty quickly around 5K rev. With the BPT that I'll be dropping in this summer and the a...

GTR Spoiler
I've e-mailed several companies that make this spoiler and only Octane Motor Sports said that their's comes with the necessary hardware to replace the original factory spoiler. Does anyone have any experience with them?

BTW, I thought those RSX headlights looked hideous, but that's just my opinion. The civic single-halos blow that crap up! Big time! LOL!!! ;) I got a lot of MX-3 bro's that run the single-halo set-up. It's pretty wicked looking when you're rollin in a parkin lot full of people just chillin. If I dec...

Cool, thanx. I work for Honda so I'm pretty familiar with the grade of plastic on those lights, but most companies have switched to the cheap stuff anyway. I was just looking for something more lasting and appropriate that would give my ride an original look. That mod DOES look good. Please don't ta...

Has anyone considered 2002 miata headlights?
I've scoped all of the civic halo conversions and there's two things that I don't like: the headlamp housing is not rounded which takes away from the snake-eyes look of the car, and those aftermarket halo housings are PLASTIC!!! This means that UV radiation is going to turn them yellow in due time. ...

Thanks again. You guys are the masters when it comes to the MX-3. I like the mazdaspeed fascia the best as far as looks, but the B-2 looked like it might have more room. The mazdaspeed unit has more clearance and the last thing I want to do is scrape the road eveytime I have to go across a speed bum...

Wow BUGS. I guess I was net-surfing so fast that I didn't read your whole response. I apologize for that. Thank you very much. So the Throttle Position Sensor plug is different, eh? As far as I know, the BPT does have VICS but I have been known to be wrong. Thanks for the dope, dude! :D mx3chemist 1...

OOPS, I meant to say BPT, hehehe. Anyways, I guess my main question at this point is will the SOHC 1.6 wiring harness work for the BPT and it's accompanying ECU, or do I have to go through the headache of installing the BPT wiring harness? I know I have to wire-in the VICS system, but that's not a b...

Thanks guys. I appreciate the tips. I didn't realize that this particular tranny can't even withstand the normal pull that you get at rolling speed with the BTP. I know a guy in Atlanta that says he runs this set-up and he doesn't have any problems because he just dusts people on the interstate at r...
