Or Maybe A Miata 1.6 ECU or even escort? I am Pretty good at anything Electrical so wiring up anything would ...

My suggestion is, to go with the meita cams. You can get good gains without putting to much money into it. Plus you wont have to dig deep into the motor to change them out, as its pretty easy to swap your stock cams out. Or just save your money and do the oh so common engine swap. Nitrous is always ...

Spray on sound deadner works just as well but requires alot of coats to reach the same effect. But the advantage is you can spray it just about everwhere, inside cracks ect. I Plan on sound insulating my whole car soon i have already done the doors with sprayon sound deadner and noticed a big drop ...

If you have to replace the cluth i would most defently recommend South Bend. I got mine for $170.00 us, its very smooth and very Strong. 300% stronger then stock, And their customer service is awsome. Just a recommendation in case it ever comes up. Good Luck

Performance Cams

Just wandering if the performance cams from corksport, from the 323 gtx will work on a DOHC Mx 1.6? And for $450.00 US with shipping, would the gains be worth it? I was thinking around 12 - 14 HP in the high RPM range? Any info would be great. Thanx

I know you can change them with the head on, But i would take the head off, its easier and you can get the head gasket at the same time. of course, if you just plan on changing the valve seals then leave the head on. If you do it the easy way and just take the head off all you would have to do then ...

I would have suspested the valve seals first, but if they are new I would suspect the piston rings are worn if it only dose that when the engines cold. My mx dose the same thing untill it warms up, then i have no problem. The last car i had, had the same prob untill i replaced the seals. after that ...
