bogging and stalling problem

Post by 95 rs »

so i start my car and it fires up then it just dies then i start it again and it dies then i give it gas and it stays running. at stop signs it really bogs bad and dies sometimes while at the stop sign. I just got a b6de with 20 000 miles put in and ever since then its bogged really bad. the mechanic that put in the motor never hooked up the vacuum line that goes from the passenger side to the driver side and is a single line that goes somewheres on the driver side. i dont know if the guy before me changed the fuel filter so i am thinking that as a possibility. so any input from someone would be great and to know where that line goes would be great also. thanks in advance...

If you have checked all of your ignition conponets spark pugs, wires, car and rotor. and all your connectores are hooked up correctly like your mass sensor id bet on that vac line im not sure what vac line your talking about. maybe you could post a pic? if its the one that connects to the air intake box befor the mass sensor that dosent make much difference.
