I recently purchased a new car and also have been experiencing a relapse with my disease (scleroderma; donate http://www.sclero.org ). Because of these two reasons My spot in the MS BB on Probe Talk is up for sale, and my car will also be placed here soon as well. All detals on the units are on the ...

Anywhere after the turbo and before the Cat is fine. I've read from different sources that anywhere from 8-12inches downline from the turbo is best (for heat/accuracy reasons). I hope your front 3 and back 3 cylinders join before they go into the turbine, but if you have customs pipes and the turbin...

LOL ok to clarify a few things... 1: 10:1 compression vs 9.2:1 compression a ZE running 10PSI would have a compression ratio of 16.8:1 a DE running 10PSI would have a compression ratio of 15.45:1 Conclusion: A DE would have to run more boost to make the same power... 2: ZE Heads and IM vs DE heads ...

I've got a small amount of understanding as to how megasquirt (or any engine management system) works. I plan on building a DE over fall/winter and installing it in the spring. I am also planning on it being turbo...and I want to be able to control it very precisely so I can keep the system reliable...

you have to enter a code to be able to have any control of functions on your car. this is PART of why I am skeptical of buying one. Noone seems to have tried any of the available units and I have no idea what kind of security protection or encryption anything has. I dont want someone to be able to c...

GSM (SIM card, cellular) car alarms
so does anyone know of any decent GSM car alarms? I have had little luck finding any decent looking ones as far as quality...they all seem to be imported as it seems to be a fairly new product. for anyone that doesnt know what a GSM alarm is, it's just a normal car alarm that has the ability to be c...

Thank you for all of the information. Honestly I spent awhile searching on the forums and the web and it's hard to find the difference between and ZE and DE swap. I knew there probably wasnt much of a difference, but I wanted to be sure about everything. And the guy I'm buying from is only about an ...

well the seller has the OBDI ecus and VAFM so would that work out even though the engines are 97's OBDII? I would think everything would be okay as long as all of my sensors matched up? so out of the 3 engines which would give me the best performance and ease of installation more importantly 97 Prob...
