From what i was reading though it says to use 87 octane gas. Says that most newer cars don't have a high enough compression to burn up the higher octane gas. Also states he gets better mileage when adding the Acetone to the lower grade gas. Guess it allows it to burn it alot easier.

I decided to start using it! I'm starting to get shocked now when I don't. Kinda got used to it though I had a Sunfire till the motor blew for the second time and it would give me one hell of a jolt everytime I got out.

I just replied over there. DC is only about 6hrs away so figure I may as well go. Granted my bone stock MX-3 won't impress anyone but just wouldn't mind meeting some people. I have never been to a meet before so it should still be fun!

Yea, I'm 6'2" and quite comfortable. My first car was a '88 Mazda RX-7 and it was much more cramped and I was shorter at that time. I do wish the wheel would go about a 1/2 in. higher though.

Ok, I'll check that out. I have it plugged into the factory ground at the moment. I'll just cut that wire and ground it to that tube running under the dash that I grounded the new antenna that I got to. Thanks for the help I hope it works. Having a crappy reception just sucks. Got everything else wo...

Very Odd Question!

Ok, I thought the antenna was bad on my car so got a new one that I mounted under the dash. Well, still having a problem with reception but... When the key is in Accessory mode with only the radio on it picks up signal like a dream. When the key is in the On position on the car running there is tons...

Cool, thanks! I have read that it can swell some rubber parts/gaskets more but that is in concentrations higher than what you put into your tank. Even if gas mileage doesn't improve much still a great cheap way to clean out the carbon deposits on your injectors, etc. If you look most fuel system cle...

Yea, that is all true but those are normally spotted by the 30+ of the same ads. One of the major downfalls, but that is expected still a great place to get some things. $12 compared to $40 is a good deal IMO, especially considering it is still shrink-wrapped and never used.

Timing Belt Please Help!

Well, I just recently got my '93 GS and didn't have any prior information on the previous owner other than the name on the title. Either way it has 131,000mi on it and not sure if the timing belt has ever been changed. The car is in great shape and very clean and seems to be very well taken care of....

Yea, I have a 93 GS and that is where the hazard button and the rear defroster is. Looks like on the 94+ they just put a blank button there that never went to anything since the hazard button was moved.

I love eBay sometimes...

I love ebay sometimes just for having things like the Chiltons repair manual that I just got. Only paid $12 total! Really only $6 but was $6 shipping. Either way couldn't find one around here at any part stores so looked on eBay and got one cheaper than anywhere else!

I finally figured out what the problem was! I took the assembly out and popped the cap off to where the gear is on the motor. There is basically a big/thick rubber disk in there which had spit. So the motor was just turning the top part of the rubber disk but not the gear. Right now I'm waiting for ...
