who cares what your painting as long as your painting something and getting paid good money for it...
a bodyman making 8bux with no experience isn't to bad....if you stay there for 3-5 years you'll probably end up making 15-18bux and spraying/finish work...

I'm running a protege 1.8L...with the mx-3 flywheel and Plate..I didn't replace anything but the flywheel bolts when I did the swap... as far as Spec and ACT have told me the bolt pattern for the Miata and MX-3 1.6L crank to flywheel are the same...aswell as the bolt pattern for the flywheel to pres...

Even on my old motor which had 240k on it I put a full can to 1/2 a tank... It recommends 1/2 can to full tank i believe...? it ran alot better for a good 2 weeks....(that motor burned a liter a month) it reccomends 1/3 in the engine, 1/3 in gas tank, 1/3 in the oil. To broaden the reach of this thread: Equally if your running an F-series tranny with a BP(miata 1.8L) you can run a 1.6L Flywheel 1.6L PPlate and 1.6L disc or although this is not recommended by the manufacturers: 1.8L flywheel 1.8L PPlate and 1.6L Disc which is smaller in diameter then the 1.8L Disc.

I tested this out on my 1.6L DOHC last year... 10L Gas can on the passenger seat...Trip set when the light came on and stayed on, on flat road... Sputtered out, but restarted, 50KM later city(60kph-90kph) and highway(140kph), either way it was 5am and i was tearing the shi0t out it....so think worst...

cars are meant to be painted with CAR paint and clear coat so yah no other way around i'm afraid its kinda law of the world Tremclad is basically car paint...it's just 100% acyrlic vs. acrylic color with a urathane or other hardener... I spray bomb'd my rear bumper with Crappy-tire motomaster autom...
