 OMFG!! That's an awesome turnout!!!! Puts us to shame for sure!!! The biggest rally/group cruise I've ever been able to participate in was probably about 35 cars or so. That would be wicked if we could gather up something that big. 8)

Re: ATX for KLDE??

Hey Chiggles...I'm also interested in th "DE" swap as I don't want to swap the tranny right now...but I might. I don't know this guys handle but Rick in Calgary PM'd me on this topic. He mentioned that the "DE" would bolt up with no problems. Any extra parts would be the ECU fro...

Hmmm.... as much as I admire the reliability of Civic's, there's just too damn many of them all over the place. Same reason why I fell in love with the Precidia in the first place was just cuz it was so unique. If the MX-3's weren't around I would've probably gone for a 5th gen. Prelude. If had the ...

Well, just like every other event this past year so far, most likely I'll probably end up NOT being able to attend at this one either. Make no mistake - working in retail during the holiday season while residing out of town sucks BIG TIME, @#!%$ I'll be so relieved one day if I ever get the c...

Hmmm..... now that you mention it, I don't seem to get very much spray pressure from my rear nozzle that sits just above the hatch window. All my wipers are fine and the front jets seem to work ok since I can see the fluid actually shoots out like a "beam", but out of my rear nozzle, I don...

I know the past few guys hate Mobil 1. But I have recently switched to 10w30 Mobil 1 and my car idles so smooth now that you don't even hear it running and has not burnt a drop of oil. Stay away from castrol, it is awful, I burnt through a bottle a month and always had an engine knock when idling. ...

Well, I had things checked out last Wednesday and as it turns out, I shifted my front right wheel off by about 1.5º so everything got realigned and re-balanced since I was due up for a tire rotation anyway. Steering arm checked out ok as there were no warps or discolorations along the beam to indica...

May have bent the rim a bit, misaligned the car, bent a steering arm, messed up the lower ball joint and maybe even a few other things. First thing is first. Get the alignment checked, then the wheel balanced (go ahead and rotate the tires while you are at it) If the alignment and balance go ok, th...

Slid into a small curb today and.....(please help!)

So the first signs of winter showed its ugly head today when I left for work this morning and not even a block away from my apartment, I go to make a left turn and ended up sliding my front right wheel into the curb. Lovely, right? Not a lot of snow has fallen really, but the fact that the temperatu...

From this thread.... The issue with synthetic oil is that it likes to get past seals, gaskets, and even piston rings.. its a very slippery oil so to speak. So unless your engine is new or has always run synthetic oil.. it would be best to use a more conventional oil. Now.. you could try synthetic o...

Thanks for the feedback Chiggles :) Hope you enjoy the mud guards! I'm sure I will, but I won't really get to find out til the spring to put them on. Still need to be repainted to match my car but since I don't own a garage, I'll have to wait til it gets warmer to do some painting. Still have to ge...
