What car would you pick for a new project under - $5000
I have my mx3 project but I can never work on it because it's my daily driver too. I want to start another project that can sit in the garage until I want to show it off. I have around $4500 to buy a car. I want a car with 180 hp or more stock, or a car with less hp and lots of aftermarket performan...

Re: MX 3 RS W/80 whp vs RSX & STI
I started this post to ask the question "Why could I get off the line faster?" If the answer to that question is "reaction time." Then that's all I wanted to know. I never claimed that my car was better or faster than the STI or RSX, and frankly I am getting tired of having to sa...

Re: I got some powder coat and ceramic pricing
Hey Mazdamaniacmx3, I sent an email to you about prices. I got the address from an old post you made but I got no response. I wasn't sure you were still doing it. Maybe I did not copy it down right. I should have tried a PM. Do you do ceramic coating too? <small>[ December 16, 2004, 10:06 PM: Messag...

BMWM3GUY - The only disgrace is people who don't read before they talk spit. This thread is about getting off the line and not about qrt mile times. I wouldn't know anything about those ebay chips, but please tell us all about yours. <small>[ December 16, 2004, 04:10 PM: Message edited by: rukick ]<...

I got some powder coat and ceramic pricing
I have seen some discussion about pricing and I thought that this might be helpful. Here is the best quote that I received: "Thank you for visiting Powder Perfect at www.PowderPerfect.com. Vince, We can powder coat your 2 front brake calipers for $25.00 each, 2 drum brake covers for $30.00 each...

Re: Knocking & Crunching in RT wheel well
Found this post: web page Very helpful. I will start taking things apart tomorrow. I love messing with my car when I am increasing performance but hunting down problems make me want to... Maybe I should tell my wife that the sound is from a bad engine and the only thing that will fix it is...

Re: Knocking & Crunching in RT wheel well
Thanks for the reply. That was my first thought too, but the axle boots seem to be intact. Could the axle be bad if the boot is not torn?

Clayton sold me a MAF from rx-7
I thought I was buying a Main Air Filter from an RX-7 but what I got looks like a big mouse trap. Just kidding - Clayton is a great seller. MAF works great. No problems.

Knocking & Crunching in RT wheel well
I did a search for this problem but I didn't find anything. I have a knocking and crunching sound coming from my RT wheel well only when I am making a turn. I took a look and there is nothing immediately obvious. Any suggestions before I get in there and start taking stuff apart? My steering seem to...

Re: MX 3 RS W/80 whp vs RSX & STI
I don't know who is claiming to have a "badass" MX3? I talked to my STI friend about it last week (since some people here just can't let it go.) He said that he was not concerned in the least bit about getting off the line fast. He was still trying to break-in the engine. He also said that...
