I'm with you catalyst, mine's tropical emerald green as well. Perhaps what people are calling Teal is actually our color.
2fazed, can you tell me which junkyards had the MXs in and I can take a look around?

92-93 Green Hood [WTT]
Ok people, I know this is a long shot but here's what I'm looking to do. I am looking for someone in the CA Bay Area, who has a Tropical Emerald Green hood from a 92 or 93 with no damage & good paint. Hopefully on a parts car or left in the garage after a CF upgrade. I have a 93 teal hood on my ...

I will admit my SOHC is slow as hell, but at $2.35 a gallon i'm glad I don't have a V8. BP coming soon... Me too, who needs super fast when you squeeze out close to 35 mpg. I'm slow and loving it. All the way to the bank. Wanna really go fast? Buy a bike, best bang for the buck in the performance a...

Re: squealing belt help!
Had the same problem after replacing belts with crappy Pep-Boys items. Then I replaced them with Factory Mazda (Gates) belts and adjusted to the proper belt deflection and all was fine. However I did have to re-tension them after 300 or so miles due to stretching. Since then no problems. So first th...

Re: TICKING ALSO!!!!!!

Anways the guy said in about a week or two the noise will just suddenly stop and sound whisper quiet. Well in exactly 7 days f...

Re: Bazooka anyone?
Thanks for the help Typhoonk. I just found out that it will be easier then I thought, the Powered Bazookas have both high and low level inputs. Meaning they can accept either speaker leads or RCA cables. I think I can get away with running it in series with my rear speakers. <small>[ November 06, 20...

Bazooka anyone?
Anyone ever install a Powered Bazooka into the MX-3? I trying to upgrade the stock audio without upgrading the headunit (long story). Is there a way to feed the Sub via the existing speaker wire or does it have to have RCA (this includes line output converter boxes)? I'm looking for minimal work as ...

Re: Strange idle problem when brake is depressed?
Not sure if this is the case for you but I had a Civic once that did the same thing. It turned out to be a vacuum leak. Look around under the hood for obvious signs. It also helps sometimes to use a can of WD40 and spray suspect fittings. If you spray on a leak the idle should momentarily go back to...

Re: K&N Air Filter
I put mine in about a month ago and I love it since I'll never have to buy another filter again. I cannot say I feel more power but it didn't run any slower so that's better then nothing. No adverse effects on fuel economy either, although K&N adertises increased fuel economy. My own previous ex...

And then are they mounted into the plastic trunk panel or into the speaker pods? Would you happen to have a pic of how its setup?

How did you mount your 6X9s?
I wanna drop in a pair of 6X9's but as far as I can tell they won't fit. I've read many posts here that say 6X9's are a simple mod require little to no cutting. But I just don't see how that would work in the rear speaker pods. Also many have promised to post pics but I haven't found any. Could some...

Re: no power...plus squealing
jaw367, keep an eye on them belts still. I had the same problem as you and ultimately replaced with OEM belts too. However after 1.5 months it started doing it again. After checking the tension it seems like the belts had stretched a bit (others on this board have talked about this in the past). Had...
