92-93 Green Hood [WTT]

Ok people, I know this is a long shot but here's what I'm looking to do. I am looking for someone in the CA Bay Area, who has a Tropical Emerald Green hood from a 92 or 93 with no damage & good paint. Hopefully on a parts car or left in the garage after a CF upgrade. I have a 93 teal hood on my car without damage but the paint is lacking. Looking to do a trade plus $50. Any takers? A long shot I know, but it couldn't hurt asking. Thanks.

A huge long shot. I don't even know if I've ever seen a Tropical Emerald Mx around here. Only the Purple ones. Something wrong with just getting another teal hood? You can find those at the junkyards.

2fazed, I was just hoping to bypass repainting it. I don't want to go through that hassle. What year are the Teal hoods from? I was not able to find that color in the MX3 colour chart. Maybe I'm blind.

92-93 RS's have em.

hmm... I consider mine teal, and it's this color (92-93):

I'm with you catalyst, mine's tropical emerald green as well. Perhaps what people are calling Teal is actually our color.

2fazed, can you tell me which junkyards had the MXs in and I can take a look around?

Since your in the Bay area, and you have access to a ton of them. Simply call them up and ask. I've only seen the 94+ Mx's in purple, and 93 teal Mx's around.

Why would he buy a sanded hood, when he has a perfectly good hood, with cracked paint? He's looking for a good painted hood, so he doesn't have to paint.
