How did you mount your 6X9s?

Post by h8ter »

I wanna drop in a pair of 6X9's but as far as I can tell they won't fit. I've read many posts here that say 6X9's are a simple mod require little to no cutting. But I just don't see how that would work in the rear speaker pods. Also many have promised to post pics but I haven't found any. Could someone please help me out and attach a photo of their setup? I just want to see how they are mounted. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

It depends on the 6X9's, cause they all have different sizes. But all you have to do is cut the center thing off.

And then are they mounted into the plastic trunk panel or into the speaker pods? Would you happen to have a pic of how its setup?

Contact IllaKilla on this forum. He's done it, and has pics.
