Re: G-Force kit
I'm in that group buy...just getting a bit anxious I guess. I'd like to try and have it on soon after I get it. My neighbor put his kit on himself and said it wasn't too bad.
Thanks

G-Force kit
Just wondering if anyone who has ordered this kit could give me some info on how it fits. Good? Bad? Is it something I could put on myself with a little know-how or should I just let the bodyshop put it on?
Thanks

Re: New clutch?
I was planning on posting this same question myself. My situation is a bit different. I changed my stock clutch at 90,000 miles with a Clutchmaster ( which I am very pleased with ) but I'm a little bummed out because my car is 123,000 and it is starting to slip already. 2 and 3rd gear are the worst,...

Re: lifter valve problems
I had ( still have ) the same ticking noise in my 93 1.6L. I used Amsoil Engine Flush and switched to 5W-30 oil ( Mobil 1 synthetic )from 10W-30 ( Mobil 1 Synthetic )and it seems to have helped a lot. I also switched to using a Mazda Oil filter. I have my doubts that switching filters solved anythin...

brakes
I'm noticing that I have to press the brake pedal in further before I start to feel like the car is braking. I had my front pads replaced about 3 months ago and I had my rear pads replaced just yesterday and still the problem is there. I don't remember it being like this before. Could this be realte...

I'm also looking for a nice sounding muffler. Has anyone heard the Hayame, HKS (universal) or A'PEXi (universal) on an MX-3?
Thanks

brake noise
I just recently had my brake pads replaced but now I get this "grinding" sound whenever I slow down to a complete stop. It only happens when I come to a complete stop ( not if I'm braking going around a curve or something ). It's not really that loud ( you can only hear it with the radio o...

Re: painted interior panels
Thanks for the replies. Unfortunatly I had already started the project before I noticed the replies because I couldn't wait any longer. I did sand it ( 400 grade ) very lightly and I also used a spray on primer. I also cleaned with alcohol as suggested. I am very pleased with the results...the paint...

Re: Interior painting help...
I just finished paiting mine this weekend and here is what I did. First I cleaned the panels with Simple Green ( dilute w/ water ). I dried them off and lightly sanded the parts with 400 grade wet/dry sandpaper. After the sanding I cleaned them again with rubbing alcohol to get the sanding residie o...
