You are contradicting yourself here. You are the one who said you spin through first gear without trying. That doesnt sound like you got your wheel spin under control to me. There are better ways to get traction rather then downgrading your tranny.

this aint no honda forum. kl s make torque enuph torque not to need the extra mechanical advantage of lower gearing. the lower gear ratio amplifies the torgue so much you get lotts of wheelspin if you have a race preped car with lots of traction to he lower gear ratio would be the logical choice. b...

I am willing to bet that the shorter geared mx3 tranny will make for a quicker car. This is the only forum i have ever been on where people think longer gearing is better.

 you dont need to pull the head to check the head codes, they are in plain view. Just pop off the valve cover to check the cams, that should take ya not more that 10 minutes.

[FS] jdm kf15 ecu

This is the ecu used to run the kfze engine. $140ono. Need it gone so no reasonable offer refused.

To get the most out of your engine, use the recommended octane fuel.

Are there even any high performance j-spec engines put out 100hp/litre besides a lot of the honda engines? I am talking n/a engines here.

Damn why would they set the rev limiter so high when the engine cant handle anywhere near that? Its pointless.

In my gsr(integra that is), its impossible to over rev the engine unless i redline a gear then accidentally downshift.

$600 for the extra 30hp is nothing. A ze swap is well worth it.

What do you mean? They are different engines. A klze has better heads, cams, intake manifold, and higher compression pistons.

Good time btw.

No here is what a 98-02 626 intake manifold looks like. I believe lakersfan has one in his mx-3.

Just go klde, you should be able to find the engine for less then $400. Dont even waste your time trying to make decent power with a k8.

Mid 14's are pretty average for a ze mx-3, so not a bad time at all.
