Re: New MX-3 Owner - Need some help
Try and test your engine for codes by jumping ten and gnd and see if that tells you anything. Follow these instructions

Re: engine codes
Use the 1.8 tranny and flywheel. You gonna want an aftermarket clutch like act or clutchmasters or something of that sort as the stock clutch won't hold up. Search on ebay or street-import.com for clutches.

Re: i've been getting a CEL
Would the left o2 sensor be considered the front or rear one?. I know in the v6 faq it says the left is the front, and there is another post in this section that says the left is the rear.

i've been getting a CEL
My CEL has been flashing so i jumpered the ten and gnd. It flashed once, followed by a short pause and then flashed 7 times quickly. Re: KLZE Swap- 1.8ECU vs 2.5ECU
Go ahead and get your car back with the 1.8 ecu, when you get the 2.5 ecu, put it in then. When you say 2.5 ecu, are you talking about the klze or klde ecu. I dont think it will run so well with the klde ecu. Maybe get the de vaf to? ... im not to sure on that one.
