are u guys sure that it is not the 6th one from the firewall cause the other ones are pink,brown, etc... untill i reach the 6th which is black and white. oh and before i cut this wire is it a possitive thing and wont mess anything up besides my driving record?

its not canadian but it is a reliable ang good service place called enginesrus and just tell them that you need the curved neck ze and they even found me a kl31 ecu and the total price shipped was 1400 us dollars for the motor and ecu and it showed up in two days and the motor was exactly what they ...

as far the hotshot headers the are probably the second best thing i bought next to the klze, i ran open headers for about two days and they were way too loud for the street so i hooked them up today to the exhaust with no cat just straight piped from front to back!SOUNDS AND PERFORMS GREAT

hopefully the dyno is coming soon as well as some 1/4 mile times . first gonna play with timing and fuel to see if i cant get more response especially through 2nd gear, its a little weaker in the top end then 1st and 3rd but still strong nonethelessany ideas out there and what has helped ne one?

i dont know if i am crazy but thats almost exactly how they fit on my 93 x3 , i will try to get pictures under and above the motor. also i dont have emissions so i plugged the egr bung by cutting it, pinching and then welding the little adapter shut.

i actually took the cat out cause we have no emissions out here and all i had to do to connect the headers to the exhaust was cut and weld in a 10inch piece maybe cost me 20-30$

heres the scoop folks, on my 93 gs with the ze swap the hotshot headers bolt up beautifully no cutting,welding removing crossbraces or anything except for moving back the cat. it was almost as easy as changing a battery as long as the radiotor is not in yet. sounds great too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok i have read a ton on these headers and so i went ahead and bought the hotshot headers so now people are saying that there not going to bolt on without cutting the crossmeber on the tranny? i have a 93 gs and the shop is getting the headers tommorrow and will finish droppin the motor and radiator ...

it is the klze with the ms8 manifold but the throttle body spring was all bent to hell, is it possible to switch the hardware off the k8 to the ze(spring, cable, etc...)?

hey thanks for the help,but i think that i will stick with my k8, things are really tite budget wise after i bought everything else and untill i know there is a signifigant gain from this i think ill be ok. i also have the curved neck klze so i think that the cold air intake that i made should help ...

after reading alot of the search forums there really isnt even a difference between the 60 and the 65. not that has been dyno proven anyway right?

i got the ze motor in about a week ago and the tb was bent from shipping, basically a peice of #$%@ so we have everything in and ready to go but was just wondering if the k8 tb that i swapped over gonna cause me any trouble?

i thought about that but was worried that the sanding would give it a dull look, my old motor is the v6 k8 1993 and it looks a million times better from head to two it looks brand new
