You've got the nuts all wrong. You need to flip that threaded piece over. The sleeve on nut #2 fits on the inside of the spring. You adjust nut #2 up or down to get the desired ride height. Then you use nut #1 to lock it in place. So nut #1 & 2 should be tightened up against each other.

Getting a CV joint from the salvage yard is just bad practice. Who's to say it's any better than what you have. At worst case get one from autozone or the likes. If you can afford it one from raxles.com. It will last as long if not longer than the oem one. I think they run ~$130 from raxles.

All you need is the right size hole and location of that hole to mount the ZE to our mounts. The actually mount itself can be very different.

Hey bums are people too! Do you drive up on the sidewalk to hit them or do you wait til they cross the street with their shopping cart?

Yup doing Koni's and a weld on GC coil over kit. I'm also trying to keep my stock struts and springs for winter driving.

Considering the MX-3 weighs about 1,000lbs less than a vette it would be a bad idea to put those on even if the fit. The spring and damper rates will be way to high. It will be like driving with no suspension, just solid rods for shocks. Also the weight bias of the vette is completely different so t...

Camber plates are really for getting more camber than stock not less or the same. They also get rid of the rubber upper mount for the strut. That is to remove some compliance in the suspension and improve handling. If you were just looking to adjust the camber back to stock specs there are camber ki...

A roll bar is an awesome mod for safety as well as stiffening up the car. Just the basic six point should do the trick, and any welding or muffler shop might be able to help you out getting the custom fabrication done. You have to figure with that cage welded in six different spots, whenever your c...

The koni specials must be able to be more than 20% stiffer than stock. They came with my 500"lb springs from ground control. Not sure what the stock spring rate is but I'm sure 500 is more than 20% more.

You want very, very stiff rear shocks and springs. Probably something around 500"lb springs in the back. You'll also want the rear a bit higher than the front to get as much weight over the front wheels as possible. Stock height in the rear with a lowered front would work best. I'm thinking som...
