So the EGR system checks out (according to the shop manual). So what could cause the build up that you speak of, and what is that product you mentioned and how does it work? Do i need to be concerned with it cloging my egr system if i have too much build up when it losens and tries to exit the engin...

Higher and higher octane to prevent pinging

Ok so for the past while I have noticed that I have to run higher and higher octane gas to keep her from pinging. I just don’t get it; I now have to run 92 octane. It’s getting to be summer and I’m concerned to run nitrous through her this year. If you have any idea why I’d love your suggestions. P....

Shift light install

I just installed an auto meter shift light and wanted to confirm the wire I need to splice on the ecu to get the rpm signal. I think its pin b2 the dark green one on the largest plug but I’m not sure so if any one knows I’d really appreciate the help so I don’t blow it up.

thx

Re: Extra LED’s

OK here’s the thing tho the output of the brain is switched from 1.3 or so and 0 so I can’t use any LED’s with resistors. Unfortunately the ones I have installed have resisters in them and due to an alternate function the LED’s also serve the resistors need to stay there. So if anyone knows of a tra...

Extra LED’s

Hey guy’s I was wondering how meny LED’s you can hook up to the out put of your alarm? I want to add two high out put ones in the door and wondered if I needed to use a transistor/ relay so the alarm brain is not powering all 3 LED’s.

Re: Ripped Dust Boot

But I’m assuming there’s no way of replacing it without taking the strut and the spring apart?

Ripped Dust Boot

Just a quick question; I noticed when I had my car on the jack that one of the dust boots on my strut is ripped. The question is, will it hurt the strut if I don’t replace it and is there any way of replacing it without taking the strut tower apart?

Any help would be great thx!

I ordered a manual but it will be @ least a week till it comes in. If you can remember what hose is the main control...
