Head ? ATTN: GRO

I bought a brand new set of heads(millinea) to put on my ze. The heads came with valves, springs, retainers and all. What else do I need to buy besides cams to have a new top end. I'm gonna pull the front valve cover to see what all I'm missing. I'm pretty sure GRO is doing the same thing. If anyone...

Don't skimp on the clutch, you might want to up the power down the road(cams,N2o). Be sure to inspect the mounts, poly fill if necessary might wanna go mazdaspeed. These are some of the things I'm going through now with cams and all.

Re: 13 sec. N/A KLZE possible?

Slicks aren't the main reason. Good driver and weight reduction are the key. BTW, he ran a 13.32 on a n/a ZE.

Re: 13 sec. N/A KLZE possible?

Guy on probetalk ran a 13.52 on stock ZE. Although he had some serious weight reduction, the probe is couple hundred pounds heavier to begin with. ZE + weight reduction = 13 seconds.

This motor has the PVC tube on the front valve cover. Papa Roached, is that an A-Spec millenia IM?

Re: "24 VALVE DOHC" VC on a ZE?

I looked at your car earlier before posting and I swear I did'nt see that VC. What is the number on your TB, it should be KL something. For example mine is KL68.
Thanks for the reply.

I have a vibration under acceleration and noticed the other day that my passanger side axle, inside hub is ripped open. Its where the axle connects to the intermediate shaft. You think this could cause a vibration?

Re: Fuel upgrades needed for KL swap?

I would suggest getting a AFPR. I was running rich with stock k8 fuel pump w/kl 36 ecu.
Just my 2 cents.
