Shaun- Yes, I used that as my primary guide. It was only a basic overview, so I had to ask some questions around the board here, but I ended up getting it all hooked up. The intake pipe had a big bracket, but there was no way it was going to actually line up to anything to bolt to. It rests on the s...

Front Strut bar installed... is this ok?
I just put in a front strut bar. I had to "shim" the bar using the original bolts that were in there, in order to clear my intake manifold. Is this going to be ok? http://www.ctrlaltdel-online.com/temp/strut1.jpg http://www.ctrlaltdel-online.com/temp/strut2.jpg http://www.ctrlaltdel-online...

Also, I've noticed that the tinny rattle from my PaceSetter catback is more prominent. Before I installed the CAI it used to happen every once in a while when I was driving and accelerated past 3k RPM. Most of the time it sounded great, it was only occasionally that I'd get the tinny vibration sound...

Got my CAI Installed
I finally got my CAI installed today. I'm pretty sure it's running fine. Didn't have any problems when I took the car for a test drive. Not sure if I lost low-end power or not. It's hard to tell. Here are some pics: http://www.ctrlaltdel-online.com/temp/cai2.jpg http://www.ctrlaltdel-online.com/temp...

It sounds awesome 99% of the time. On very rare occasions when I slam the gas, I get a tinny sort of rattle for a short burst. Pretty annoying. It may be because the car doesn't have a cat on it right now, so we'll see if it changes once I get one put on. After that, if it's not fixed, I may try and...

I haven't installed my CF hood yet, but I have a set of those hood pins, and a set of the locking hood pins. I think I'm going to install the locking ones. Josh has them on his CF hood, and he says they work great:

My Pacesetter is brand new (2-3 weeks old) and it does this too. Only on occasion though, but when it does, I hate it. It's a rattling sound, but it makes the exhaust sound really tinny, metallic, high pitched and super cheap. The rest of the time I love how it sounds. Wish we knew what caused it, s...

Hmm, that's pretty much what I got, except it appears that one has an extra smaller port, presumably for that third hose with no home... Perhaps I will drill a tiny hole after all, and thread a 12mm port into it, then use a hose clamp. We'll see. And E3 is http://www.e3expo.com, the largest video ga...
