Front Strut bar installed... is this ok?

Post by Absath »

I just put in a front strut bar. I had to "shim" the bar using the original bolts that were in there, in order to clear my intake manifold. Is this going to be ok?

This is where it barely clears the KLZE (millenia) IM:

Is that alright do you think? I may not be getting the full effectiveness, but it isn't going to cause any damage or decreased performance, will it?

It doesn't sit below that metal lip that circles the black rubber area. It rests just on top of it. This is what worries me. The bar doesn't have to be braced against that part, the struts just have to be bound together, right?
