Re: 2.5 Intake swap
It's nice to think so but I doubt it. And I'm sure it's been tried before and failed. That's probably why it's not a popular endevour that everyone else is doing. Someone else advised you to look into pheno spacers. The full term in intake manifold phenolic thermal spacers. do a search. There's load...

Re: 2.5 Intake swap
if you have 1.8 engine use 1.8 injectors. The Probe injectors will just be dumping more fuel than the engine can burn. Running rich robs power and leads to other problems

Re: what do you think of these seats?
the floor of the MX3 is not flat and 1 rail sits lower than the other. But the bottom of the racing seats are perfectly level. Also the rails are slightly further apart than the aftermarket seats. At least mine are, so the bolt holes don't line up at all. If you try to simply bolt the OEM rails to t...

Re: Changing Valve cover ?
No you don't need to use sealant. I've had my valve cover off and on 100 times with the same rubber seal. Check it for cracks. Before you put it back on rub some motor oil on the seal to keep it from drying out and make a better seal, Like on an oil filter. If you excercise care you can reuse over a...

Re: Momo steering wheel Hub.
I find the info you're getting about the Grant adaptors to be very odd. I am using a grant adaptor. No problem at all. Plenty of space and easy as hell to install and the quality is fine. All I had to do to get it was ask the parts guy and it was ordered for me. I got it the next day for less than $...

Re: painting door inserts
I don't know what to tell you. I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. I don't know how many coats...I used 1 full 140g can to do both doors. The paint soaks in a little so the 1st 2 or 3 coats don't really count. I had no trouble with runs or anything....I just sprayed evenly and the door absorbed it...
