Re: what do you think of these seats?
IMHO a seat is a seat. I paid $750 for my seats which is pretty cheap, and they look and feel no different than any other seat I've sat in. The only thing with cheaper seats is the fabric may not last as long as a more expensive seat. Might fade or suffer wear and tear a bit sooner. But I have sport seats not racing seats. All out racing seats will be expensive because you can't put a price on safety.

That would make all the difference in my mind!! Lemme know...

Re: what do you think of these seats?
ok the first link is per seat which is still cheap as hell, and the second is for the pair and mounting brackets.

Does the first link come with mounting brackets? That is one hell of a deal i tell ya!!
Re: what do you think of these seats?
Well found some even cheaper than that at www.airdynamicracing.com .they have some that start at 120 and go up to 130. They also look just like the matrix seats. I ordered some last week when i get them ill let you guys how good the quality of them are.
Re: what do you think of these seats?
ya i really like the look of those, also with the universal slideres, do you need 2 per seat or 1 per seat. Not sure what they mean.

Re: what do you think of these seats?
You get what you pay for applies to seats as well.
Matrix, R1, arospeed and other cheap seats all have a tendency to last less than a year. My friend with arospeed seats's reclining function doesn't work anymore. ANother friend with some matrix seats had a problem with the side bolster breaking off.
YOu can buy matrix seats at pepboys. They had all 4 of their styles sitting out for you to test out. I found the bottom cushion way too narrow, and I'm thin!. The "leather look" one were very uncomfortable but the ones you are referring to aren't bad at all in terms of comfort.
Just don't be surprised if your seats last you a few 1000 miles. The fabric will probably last, but i don't know about the rest.
Tenzo seats seem to be allright. Same with "DAD" seats (forgot who is the parent company of them)

Even if the universal sliders are crap, you can always just bolt on the stock seat sliders, and you wont even need to modify anything!! What a price!

I can garantee with all certainty that you will have to slightly modify the OEM brackets to accomodate the aftermarket seats. You do NOT need the aftermarket sliders however, so if you can save $$$ by not buying them do it. You can use the stock rails but not without modifying them. They are not level on the MX3 floor. You will need to fabricate an adaptor. Very cheap to do.
