The cost of having it fix is more that the cost of finding a new one. Also it is more common for the 3rd gear syncro to go than the fork bending.

All many of these voltage stabilizers are is just a few cheap capasitor in a box. I've been installing a at least a 470000 mF cap in my cars for the last 20 some odd years even before people started to use them for their car audio system. In the old days it just helped to keep a constant voltage to ...

The pedal being at an angle and clutch itself are not related as they are isolated by a hydralic hose. The pedal being at an angle does mean the something is bent if the is no problems at the pivot bolt. Has the car ever been in an accident it almost sound like the firewall is bent or bowed which wo...

The B5 and the B6 are identical engines except for the crank. The steering rack is above the tunnel for the exhaust, shift linkage and rear drive shaft. BTW the Kiwi's have been making a tubular 4-1 exhaust manifold for the B5-ZE in the BG/EC chassis for many years now. I believe that there is a UK ...

The 285mm Fiat rotor should be a direct bolt on to the front 323/ MX-3 hubs in place of the stock 254mm rotor. They have the same offset and the same 22mm disc width. I haven't got around to unpacking the crated so the only issue I can see is the some Fiat's use a 4 X 98mm wheel bolt pattern and som...

The B5-ZE is identical to the B6-DE except for the Stroke. The stroke and bore are the same dimensions 78mm X 78mm. Also the B5 has slightly more aggressive cams. Unlike most of Mazda's other engines which are usually over rated like the BP when Mazda was sued for advertizing the HP a lot higher tha...

Most any blank rotor will be the same as the next brand. I ususally use the cheapest rotor I can get my hands on. The real place to spend money and get better braking is in the pads. Remember, the more racey the pads the more heat they need to opperate. I've seen plenty of people talk badly about g...

I just saw my old clutch or should I say what was left of it. I got a box back with a splined hub, some springs, steel fingers, rivets and handful of fiberous fluff. Did some research and this is a sign of a damaged pilot bearing in the flywheel where the friction disc breaks up into many pieces. Th...

It is very possible that it is the clutch. I just had the clutch go on my car which is a direct relative of the MX-3. I was up shifting exiting onto the highway. Put the clutch in and pop nothing. For whatever reason the friction facing shredded and was like mineral fiber wool inside the bellhousing...

The other night I saw a kid that spun his car in the rain and punched it hard into a guard rail. Turns out that it might have been caused by him converting the rear end to discs from drums and not converting the rest of the system that caused an initial braking instability causing the rear end to co...
