Something that I found that worked suprisingly well. I shaved my antenna. I stripped the coaxial wire coming out of the back of the radio so I had about 3inches of that centre wire opened up. There is no real popping noise or crackling when doing it high level. The only pop you will get is when the amp turns-on or off, because most people hook up the amps turn-on to the accessory wire being the stock deck. take it for a test drive. My main concern is the clutch - all the one's I test drove were slipping like made. I got the guy to reduce the price 500 bucks and installed an aftermarket clutch. Make sure around the seats the bolts that hold them on are not super rusty, could mean it's a rust bucket car...

I'm pretty sure no MX-3 came with an amplified system. I think the most they got was a cd player and a tape deck. Adding an amp and sub is a great upgrade. Most amps come with a built on frequency filter, low pass or hight pass. And if your amp has the option of high level input - sure you can keep ...
