people need to lighten up a bit on here

Post by Casino »

ok people on this board are by far the most arogant bunch of people around. ( not everyone sorry just a few well maybe a little more then that but nm ).

when a new person comes on the board, and asks maybe not the smartests of question all he gets is "ahahhahahahahah what are u thinking" and when someone actually has a good question all that person gets is "take sometime and use teh SEARCH FEATURE"

well heres the thing boys and girls the search feature doesnt solve everyones porblems, and a lot of the post it digs up are old and out of date. it takes a person a lot of time to search through all the BS to get any info. you go on any other board and people are always willing to lend a hand. good god people help people out maybe its a dumd question but the guy took the time to ask, if you post at least take the time to give that person an informed answer.

when someone does make a mistake at least 20 people yell at him and crap, before the mod corrects the problemn or moves the topic. dont bash people or yell at them to correct the problem. THATS THE MODERATORS JOB ! let them deal with the problem dont patrol the boards looking for someone to ***** at.

also when anybody replies to a topic with any type of criticism it them becomes a personal attack on the person who started the topic. people need to learn to take a little critisim it helps out in the long run trust me.

sorry for this rant the mods will close this ASAP probably

let the bashing towards me begin !

LOL sure the search feature is there, and its helpful.. but i'm sure there are some noobs who just need a quick answer, or someone who needs advice on the best *something-or-other*... and shooting them down doesnt help at all. i remember there was one guy who was on here for 8 posts and was banned! (and all i can remember was that people were just pissed at him for no reason) i agree.. take it easy ppl :freak:

I holeheartedly agree.

The search function is very nice, but It`s not everything it finds any good answer too.

I don't see that many people flaming noobs as much. I do more often than not b/c I'm sick of idiots posting the same question five million times. "durr...whats the difference between a us-spec KL and a KLZE".

For idiotic questions that have been covered at least 3 times, in-depth...you bet I'm going to tell them to "DO A FARKING SEARCH". It is a waste of peoples time and this boards bandwidth to see redundant topics like this.

When I do see redundant topics that haven't been covered as often (example: "how do I fix my distributor"), I see people help the person more than telling them to do a search.

I agree also people on here are too quick to tell someone to use the search and too quick to flame and tear someone apart. Our community will never grow if we don't treat eachother nicely and with respect. It will simply continue to decline faster than it should.

No, what is happening is veteran members are leaving or not posting as often. How is a community supposed to "grow" without veteran members? You need a backbone to have a successful message board. In this boards case, there is a LOT of good info available using the search function.

It it a total waste of our time if we type up replies to someones problem, only to have a future member post the same question over and over again. It is counterproductive.
