Hey macnwigs....Which Alpine deck did you get?...the black or the silver one? I have the black one (CDA-7894). It is an awesome deck...60x4...motorized face...built-in amp in the black one. The silver version needs an amp. The deck is absolutely perfect.

Hey Lil-law, I saw your MTX bandpass box on sunday. It looked great. I think I'm gonna go with the Clarion 2x12" 500W enclosed box.

Will a bandpass sub make the car vibrate whereas a straight enclosed sub box will give out better sound? If so, how do I protect the exposed subs in the trunk?

I just had my new Viper 2-way pager/alarm system. It is the newest model out. It isn't the add on version. The model number is 790VX. It is a car starter and 2-way pager alarm built into one. It is supposed to be better than the Vadar system or the Prestige system.
