Need some suggestions....

Post by Tay69 »

Here's what I currently have:
Alpine CDA-7894 (with MP3)
Sony Xplode 6x9's front and rear
I want to buy an amp and a sub. I'm currently looking at a Rockford Fosgate 250M amp and a 800w Audiobahn sub box. This will run me around $900 instaled if I pay cash. What do you guys think? Thanks.

Power akoustik makes a couple sweet a-- amps that are as powerful as hell, you should look into them. If you wanna get a good pounding sub look into overdrivve subs, they are nasty my friend has 2 10' in his ride and the pound louder than alot of 15' subs I have heard

install the system yourself....
if you want something VERRRRRY loud and something that will amaze your friends, go for an elemental designs SP15. As for an amp, I leave that up to you. Any amp that does 1000-2000 at a 2 ohm load, use it. You have 590$ left to work w/.
Yup, that sub only costs 310 right now if you pre-order... I am looking into tons of amps right now to find one that would go w/ that sub cuz I might buy one to replace my DD... its supposed to be louder!
